Dr. Riya Sadhukhan - Project Scientist

Riya Sadhukhan is a researcher specializing in organic electronics, neuromorphic devices, and flexible thin-film transistors, with a focus on bioinspired and healthcare-oriented sensing technologies. She is currently a Research Associate at the Flexible Bioelectronics and Wearables Lab, Department of Electrical Engineering, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence. She earned her PhD in Physics and M.Tech (Silver medalist) from IIT Kharagpur, where she worked on flexible organic electronic devices for neuromorphic applications. Her research integrates organic semiconductors, biomaterials, nanomaterials, and 2D materials to develop low-voltage synaptic transistors and advanced biosensors.

Dr. Manleen Kaur- Research Scientist

Manleen Kaur is a researcher specializing in biomedical engineering, electrochemical biosensors, 3D tissue-engineered models, and point-of-care diagnostic technologies, with a strong focus on sepsis and healthcare applications. She is currently a Research Scientist at the Flexible Bioelectronics and Wearables Lab, Department of Electrical Engineering, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence. She earned her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from IIT Delhi, developing 3D vascularized liver microgels and rapid electrochemical sensors for simultaneous detection of sepsis host–pathogen biomarkers. Her multidisciplinary research merges biomaterials, microengineering, and electrochemistry to build advanced diagnostic and bioelectronic platforms for personalized healthcare.

Tanmayee Parida - Postdoc

Tanmayee is a Senior Research Fellow at the Flexible Bioelectronics and Wearables Lab, bringing a background in memristor-based neuromorphic devices to the group's work on flexible, biomimetic sensing systems. She has submitted her PhD synopsis in Physics at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, where her doctoral research explored oxide (HfO2) and 2D material (hBN) heterostructures for artificial intelligence-inspired nanodevices. Prior to that, she earned her M.Sc. in Physics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. With hands-on expertise in vacuum-based thin-film deposition, nanofabrication, and correlated electrical and structural characterization to understand device physics and performance, she aims to expand her research arena to develop flexible and wearable intelligent electronic systems for future computing technology.

Devendra Kataria - Technical Officer

Mr. Kataria is a seasoned professional in technical education, laboratory management, and industrial maintenance, dedicated to improving infrastructure, guiding students, and advancing research initiatives in laboratories. He is committed to creating a safe, efficient, and innovative learning environment.

Dhairya Naryan - PhD Candidate

I completed my B.Tech and M.Tech in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Instrumentation and Control from the Government School of Engineering, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, in the year 2015. 

After concluding my studies, I worked as an Assistant Professor at Subharti University from December 2015 to 2023. My research interests include MEMS sensors and bio-MEMS. Currently, I have am working as a Research Assistant under Dr Atul Vir Singh and Dr Debarun Sengupta at Shiv Nadar University since August 2023.

Richa Tyagi - PhD Candidate

I completed my BSc and MSc in physics with a specialization in electronics from the Government College of Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, in 2023. After that, I worked as a tutor at Shri Vinayak College. 

Currently, I am working as a PhD scholar in the Flexible Bioelectronics and Wearables Lab, Department of Electrical Engineering at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence under the supervision of Dr Debarun Sengupta.

Mrigangka Sarkar - PhD Candidate

Mrigangka Sarkar is a PhD scholar in the Flexible Bioelectronics and Wearables Lab, Department of Electrical Engineering at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence. He holds a Master’s degree in Instrumentation Science (Device Fabrication) from Jadavpur University and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Calcutta.

He worked for two years as an Installation Engineer at Splendid Instruments, followed by two and a half years as a Research Assistant in the Department of Nano Science and Technology at IIT Kharagpur, focusing on flexible organic semiconductor–based humidity and temperature sensors and piezoelectric energy harvesters. His research interests include flexible and wearable sensors, MEMS biosensors, and organ-on-chip technologies.
